If there are any additional charges when using any of the Verdict & Settlement Analyzer features, you see a warning along with the price.
If your Lexis subscription includes a subscription to Verdict & Settlement Analyzer, you can search and view results as part of your subscription. If there are additional charges, you see a warning along with the price for the search or results.
When you select Verdict & Settlement Analyzer from the Lexis drop-down product selector menu, you run a search directly in Verdict & Settlement Analyzer. If you have already run a search in Lexis, you can open Verdict & Settlement Analyzer from the results list using your original search terms.
While viewing the report, you can open full-text jury verdicts and settlements included in the report. If the content is included in your Lexis subscription, there is no additional charge to view the full-text document. If the content is outside your Lexis subscription while viewing a report, you see a warning along with the price to access that document.
Verdict & Settlement Analyzer reports appear in your Lexis History. When you retrieve a report from your History, a new report is created and the charge, if any, is the same as when you initially retrieved the report.
